This month, Lycee travels to the wild lands of Backyardia to meet an exotic creature. But this guy insists he's not exotic at all, leaving our adventurer a bit frustrated!
After stormy days and missing t-shirts (her's, not mine), I finally got this in just under the wire! Special thanks to my son for the loan of the exotic(?) creature.
I would have assumed dragon too at first glance! Hmm, not sure what Gekko means over there but here, they're small lizard type things that eat mossies and my cats love to chase them.
Here in my part of the US, we have the Mediterranean House Gekko. They're roughly 4 to 6 inches (10 to 15 cm), kind of pink/translucent in color and mainly nocturnal.
